Video Production with Covid — 19

Covid — 19 has been very hard on everybody. It’s the same with DEKO 37. We have had some work with Safety Supply Inc (they are treating companies with disinfectant spray), Paper Moon Paint (we produced a Q&A video for their potential clients), Black Lives Matter (we shot several call to action and protest videos), doctor videos (educational videos about sanitizing correctly) Catholic Charities (they gave out food and supplies to thousands of people in San Antonio), Padre Island National Seashore (we filmed baby sea turtles being released on the beach) and Terry & the Alpine express (we edited a highlight video for his band. We used Zoom to live edit with him).

During quarantine I walked around downtown San Antonio. It was very desolate. I was walking around the once busy streets without having to worry about cars. Everything was closed. It felt like I was in a zombie movie and I knew I’d probably never witness anything like that again. I did several cell phone journal videos to document what was going on.

We are also trying to attain jobs with live streaming. Since conferences and seminars are not happening now, we have adjusted our business to shoot more live streaming videos. DEKO 37 now has the cameras and equipment necessary to do this.

In July we are going back to North Padre to film the Sea Turtles released again. DEKO 37 will also interview the researchers and scientists about sea turtles lives, how they incubate the eggs and how they find them after the mother sea turtle lays eggs.

We are also going to film Weathered Souls Brewing Co. release a few new beers on forth of July. The beer will benefit the BLM movement.
